ABOUT My Lake Minnetonka
Lake Minnetonka is a wonderful place. It is located only about 14 miles
from downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota - a major urban metropolis. Yet,
it provides beauty and tranquility as if it were located in the
wilderness.
It is 17 miles long and boasts 120 miles of coastline. It offers an
amazing contrast, between the quiet and peaceful early Spring morning
in Halsteads Bay, to the thumping music and partying of a Summer
afternoon at Big Island.
These images focus on the more tranquil side of the lake (Sorry - none
of Big Island at Party Time!) and reflect
all 4 seasons and the many different bays and inlets of the lake. I
very much enjoyed building this gallery and I hope you will enjoy
viewing the images.
All images are available for purchase in various sizes, either as color
prints or, alternatively, mounted and framed.
